Who is ICC?

International Children's Care
International Children’s Care is a non-profit, non-government, international, Christian organisation who “care for orphans as though they were you”. Fundamental needs of our children are met through typical family and community living in secure and clean cottage homes, with loving Christian house parents who provide the foundation for effective and supportive training.

Family support and stability increases the children’s ability to participate in and benefit from our programs. ICC was founded in 1976 and currently operates in 23 developing countries around the world.

ICC Australia (ICC-A) has been operating since 1996. It is a child-centred, developmental organization in which children have input into and benefit from all projects. ICC-A works to challenge, partner and equip children to be able to release themselves from spiritual, economic, social, physical and emotional poverty.

ICC is highly sensitive to the culture, rights and dignity of our communities; therefore we also work in co-operation with and through local communities, governments and partners.

Who benefits from our programs?
ICC seeks to empower orphaned, abandoned and destitute children to reach their full potential and become contributing citizens in their own community through activities such as skills training, basic and vocational education and income generating/micro industry assistance. Local communities also participate in and benefit from these programs, especially poor women and children, who are then empowered to alleviate poverty in their own families. ICC avoids all discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, political or religious affiliation
